Hello Rapid Readers, my name is Lewis, and welcome to another Rapid Review! Now, if you’re in the market looking for a new pair of true wireless earphones that won’t break the bank, look no further! Let me introduce you to the TOZO T20!
Do I have your attention? Good! These sleek, compact and surprisingly powerful earphones promise to deliver premium features without the steep premium price. If you are like me, it is very difficult to find a decent pair of earphones that last longer than a few hours. Whether you are using them at work, commuting, hitting the gym, or just hoping to ignore the outside world.
But the question that needs answering is, do they live up to the hype? Are they just like all other budget earphones on the market, riding along? That’s why I am here, so let’s put in those earphones and dive into what really matters – the design, audio performance, and most importantly, whether the TOZO T20 can truly enhance your day-to-day listening experience. Let’s begin!
Who are TOZO?
Founded in June 2015 in Seattle, Washington, TOZO set out to create smart devices and accessories that cater to the needs of today’s tech-savvy consumers. Since then, the brand has grown rapidly over the years, earning a solid reputation for offering high-quality, affordable audio products that consistently deliver great performance and user-friendly design.
Fun fact: Did you know that TOZO has become one of the top-selling audio brands on Amazon, with millions of satisfied customers worldwide and a product range that includes earphones, smartwatches, wireless chargers, and so much more!

Unboxing & First Impressions
Firstly, I have to admit — I do appreciate it when a company goes the extra mile in delivering excellent customer care, especially when it comes to packaging, presentation and of course, most importantly, first impressions.
Although I don’t have images of the packaging, I will say this: I could have kicked this package around the room like a football, and the earphones would still be in one piece! Don’t worry, I didn’t test my theory. Opening it up, now even though the TOZO T20 came in a simple white postal bag, everything was neatly packed and protected. The best part? I even got a nice compliments note from the PR company, which I have to be honest is a first for me. These little notes might not be much, but to me, they mean a lot, and it really stands out.
Now, my initial thought on the actual packaging of the TOZO T20 was genuinely impressive. The earphones were housed in a sleek cardboard sleeve that slid out to reveal a well-crafted box. Inside the box was another sleeve that contained the user manual and quick guide. Removing the sleeve then showed the elegant black T20 case, and a smaller box nestled just below it. Inside the box were various different-sized earphone covers from XS to XXL, along with the charging cable. Everything was neatly organised, making sure you have everything you need for a hassle-free start and unbelievably easy to set up.

Design & Comfort
The appearance of the TOZO T20 earphones has a polished and modern design, similar to a lot of newer earphone cases. The matte finish gives them a clean, minimalist aesthetic, while the compact size makes them look premium without being overly flashy. The black colour adds to their understated style, which also comes in various colours, including Blue, Green, and Red. The Black pair makes them versatile enough to pair with any outfit or occasion.
The charging case matches the colour design and also sports an LED display, which tells you how much battery life the case and earphones have currently. This was a feature that I found extremely useful in to whether I needed to charge the case or not. The case is also designed to be able to fit easily into your pockets or bag without taking up any room.
The TOZO T20 earphones are designed to fit comfortably in your ears, with a lightweight design that eliminates the cause of discomfort during extended listening sessions. I wore them for 8 hours straight, and at one point, I completely forgot I was wearing them. In comparison to my Samsung Galaxy Plus Earphones, which would sometimes start to cause soreness after a while, but with the TOZO T20, I never experienced any issue with comfort.
The earphones come with multiple earphone covers, as mentioned from (XS to XXL), allowing for a customisable fit. This means no matter how big or small your ears are, there’s an option that will work for everyone. The covers also provide a decent seal, ensuring good sound isolation and preventing them from shifting during movement.
The TOZO T20 also has an IPX8 waterproof rating, which means they are extremely effective against any water damage, including sweat and rain.
Audio Performance
When it comes to earphones, you always want the best when it comes to audio performance, and the TOZO T20 delivers this surprisingly well. The balanced sound profile complements a wide range of listening preferences— offering deep, punchy bass, clear mids, and crisp highs that make both music and spoken content sound rich and engaging.
The TOZO T20 is equipped with a 10mm dynamic driver featuring the latest horn-style loudspeaker technology. Compared to the previous generation, the upgraded diaphragm is 56.3% larger, resulting in significantly improved low-frequency performance.
The TOZO app adds another layer of customisation, allowing you to tailor the sound to your personal preferences through a variety of pre-set EQ settings. Doesn’t matter if you’re into bass-heavy tracks, vocals or even instrumental, the app allows you to do it all!
One of the standout features regarding the audio performance is the volume range. The TOZO T20 can get plenty loud without distorting the sound, even at higher levels. Clarity remains consistent across the range, with no noticeable muddiness or loss of detail.
Now to test out the TOZO T20, I play a mix of different genres and content, including YouTube videos, series and even streams. They all handled everything well. Music sounded rich and full, while the spoken word content was clean and easy to understand. So whatever type of music, podcast, or even video, these earphones deliver a solid and enjoyable listening experience across the board.

Microphone Quality
The microphone quality is something I rely on heavily, as I often have to make and take a lot of calls throughout the day. Thankfully, the TOZO T20 comes equipped with dual built-in microphones and an upgraded moving-coil driver, which helps capture voice clearly. Combined with the noise reduction technology, the earphones do a good job of making sure I’m heard even with any background distractions, making everyday communication smooth and reliable.
Connectivity and Controls
The TOZO T20 uses Bluetooth 5.3, which offers a stable yet efficient connection with low latency and improved energy usage. During testing, I was able to go to different places across my house, where I had no signal drops or issues with connectivity. These earphones connect to all devices, they worked on both my phone and PC without any issues!
Pairing the T20 is quick and easy. The earphones automatically enter pairing mode once they are removed from the case, and they were instantly recognised by my phone. Reconnecting is also seamless— just pop them in your ears and you’re good to go!
The touch controls, while responsive, can take a bit of getting used to at first. Luckily for you, the included quick guide walks you through the basics— such as things like skipping a song, pausing/playing, and turning up/down the volume, even answering or rejecting a call. If you download the app, you can customise these controls to suit your preferences.
TOZO App
App? Yep, you heard right, TOZO has its very own companion app, which is packed with features that give you full control over your earphones. Once you download the app on the device you’re using, connect your earphones and download the latest firmware update, which takes roughly 10 minutes. From there, you can customise touch controls, switch between EQ pre-sets, and fine-tune the sound to your liking—all from your phone. If your earphones do get water in them, the settings have a water drainage system that drains the water from the earphones, something I never knew even existed!
Now, a subject not a lot of people are a fan of, which is AI. Yes, although frowned upon, there is an option in the AI section of the app to do some really innovative things. Meeting recording, Realtime Translation, Face to Face and AI chat. Not for you? Okay, what about the ability to listen to soothing sounds, like rain, thunderstorms? Birds in a forest? You can explore a community of users and even products.

Battery Life
The TOZO T20 offers an impressive battery life that comfortably holds up well during daily usage. On a full single charge, the earphones offer up to 13 hours of continuous playtime, with an additional 48.5 hours provided by the charging case— which brings the total of over 60 hours of use! The case, as mentioned before, features a digital LED smart display that shows the battery life of both the case and the earphones. As the case is charged, the LED screen will light up and gradually climb up from 1 to 100. Another feature to do with the case, it supports both USB-C and wireless charging!
Value for Money
Currently, the TOZO T20 earphones are £33.99, which, for what you get, is unbelievably great value! You’re getting features which a more commonly found in more expensive brands like Apple’s entry-level AirPods—customisable EQ, a strong battery life, comfort, and customisable and responsive touch controls. Not to mention the quality of the microphone and sound performance, you would have to be crazy not to get these at this price! Plus, with 18 months of warranty, what more can you say but yes!
Final Thoughts
Now, before checking these earphones out, I have to admit I had never heard of TOZO and honestly, shame on me! These earphones took me completely off guard. My Galaxy Plus earphones cost me over £100, and for what I paid, I barely get my money’s worth. But with the TOZO T20, I received not only diamond clear sound quality but also had access to do so much more and customise it all the way I liked. Instead of sitting at my PC and especially in this heat, being able to still do my work using the TOZO was the start of my relationship with this company. I would recommend this brand to anyone, so if you’re looking for an affordable pair of earphones, that give you more for your money then get yourself a pair of TOZO T20 today!
I would like to thank the team at Bleat PR and TOZO for providing a pair to cover for this review, and also thank you to all of you for taking the time out of your days to read this review! We at Rapid Reviews UK appreciate the continued support!
